The important bits: Position: Mental Health Support Worker (Days, sleeps, and on-call) Salary: £18,704.40 + sleep-in and on-call rates (Expected earnings: £20,592) Hours: 33 hours per week (plus 7 on-call & 7 sleep-in shifts over a 12-week rota) Location: On-site in Caerphilly - working across three projects. About this Mental Health Support Worker role: Working across a small cluster of supported housing projects, you will be trained to offer tailored support to individuals on their journey to independent living. You will additionally provide support to those in the community who are awaiting accommodation or transitioning to their own homes. You'll play a pivotal role in residents' lives, providing crucial housing-related support and fostering their personal growth. From emotional guidance to practical assistance, you'll empower individuals to manage their mental health, navigate life's challenges, and cultivate essential life skills. You'll work a varied schedule with daytime shifts, sleep-ins (7 in 12 weeks), and on-call duties, ensuring flexibility and work-life balance. Engage with residents, stakeholders, and external agencies to foster a supportive network and enhance service delivery. Why consider this role and charity?
